- Parents/guardians who wish to opt out of using their athlete's photo must submit a written request to the organization's designated contact person.
- The written request should include the athlete's full name, parent/guardian's name, and a statement expressing the intention to opt out of photo usage for public or team-related purposes.
- The organization shall maintain a confidential and secure record of all opt-out requests received.
Photo Usage Restrictions:
- Once an opt-out request is received, the organization shall strictly adhere to the parent/guardian's decision and refrain from using the athlete's photo for public or team-related purposes.
- This includes but is not limited to, promotional materials, social media posts, team websites, newsletters, and any other platforms or channels associated with the organization's activities.
- The organization shall make reasonable efforts to ensure that the athlete's photo is not captured, stored, or distributed in a manner that contravenes the opt-out request.
Communication and Notification:
- The organization shall communicate the opt-out policy to all parents/guardians at the beginning of each season or upon joining the organization.
- Parents/guardians shall be informed of their right to opt out of photo usage and provided with clear instructions on how to submit an opt-out request.
- The organization shall promptly acknowledge receipt of opt-out requests and confirm the implementation of the requested restrictions.
Review and Update:

This Photo Content Policy aims to outline the acceptable and unacceptable content criteria for photos shared or displayed within our organization/platform. The policy aims to promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all users and to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Acceptable Photo Content:
- Respectful and Inclusive: Photos should promote inclusivity and respect for all individuals, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
- Appropriate Context: Photos should be relevant and appropriate for the intended audience, context, and purpose.
- Non-Offensive: Photos should not contain any explicit, graphic, or offensive material, including but not limited to pornography, nudity, violence, hate speech, discriminatory imagery, or any content that may cause harm or distress to others.
- Intellectual Property Rights: Photos should respect intellectual property rights, and users should only upload or share photos for which they have the necessary rights or permissions. Plagiarism or copyright infringement is strictly prohibited.
