Coach Rey Believes

Swimming is more than just racing a stopwatch.
It’s about:

  1. Learning real technique
  2. Growing confidence
  3. Building strong bodies and minds
  4. Creating a positive, safe place for kids to belong

His goal isn’t just to have fast kids now.
His goal is to build athletes who are still improving and loving the sport years from today.

He Utilizes Modern, Data-Driven Techniques.

Coach Rey uses a modern, evidence-based approach to stroke technique.
He stays up to date with today’s best coaching ideas and use tools like TritonWear and other internal data to guide our decisions.

That means we:

  • Look at how each swimmer moves in the water
  •  Adjust technique based on their age, growth, and body type
  • Use real numbers (not just “looks good / looks bad”) to track progress

He does not guess. He does not rely on old habits.
He keeps learning, so your swimmer keeps getting better.

Safe, Smart Training for Growing Bodies

Young swimmers don’t need “grind until you drop” practices.
They need the right mix of:

  • Technique work
  • Speed and pacing
  •  Aerobic rhythm and conditioning

We design our practices to match the swimmer’s age and level, so they can:

  • Improve without getting hurt
  • Build good habits instead of bad ones
  • Learn how to work hard and enjoy the process

He wants strong shoulders, healthy knees, and a long future in the sport.

A True Development Program

Because most of our swimmers started as beginners, our team is built on home-grown progress, not transfers. That means when a JCAT swimmer reaches a B, BB, A, or AA time…
You’re looking at the result of:

  • Consistent coaching
  • Smart practice planning
  • Family support
  • And a kid who has learned to trust the process

JCAT is still a young program, but our 8–12 year old swimmers are already on track to become one of the stronger pipelines in the region over the next few years; 77% of our new swimmers reach a B-BB USA Time Stardard within their first year.

Family-Centered and Culturally Aware

JCAT is more than a lane assignment. It’s a community.

  • We communicate clearly with parents
  • We understand the realities of family life, work, and school
  • We support a large base of international families
  • We draw on special-education teaching experience to reach all types of learners.

Every swimmer here is known by name, not just by time.

Why Families Choose JCAT

Parents bring their swimmers to JCAT because they want:

  • Real technique, not just endless laps
  • A coach who sees their child as a whole person
  • A program that uses modern tools and approaches
  • A positive environment that still expects effort and growth
  • Long-term development, not just short-term medals

If you’re looking for a place where your child will be coached with purpose, supported as they grow, and trained with both heart and science…

…then welcome to Just Care Aquatics Tritons.

We’re building the next wave of swimmers, one stroke at a time.
